“I reached out to the NAAC for a diagnostic screening for my 11yr old son. From the initial conversation with Dr Jill Aylott, I felt heard and reassured that this would be a positive step for both of us.

We were working to a tight deadline before the end of term and once the Diagnostic screening assessment started, things progressed very quickly and smoothly with Dr Alylott contacting the SENDCo at my son's High School and arranged a meeting to run through the report and discuss available support when he starts school.

Dr Aylott met my son during the screening process and even when this over, she offered to meet with us weekly and support us with building a routine to support his independence as he prepared for high school. The whole process has exceeded my expectations and Dr Aylott has been a source of great support. She's given us strategies to support my son especially when his behaviour is challenging and for me as a parent, its given me a greater understanding of my son and managing his specific needs.
